How to Read Photo Booth Reviews in Ottawa (and What to Ignore)

Reviews are one of the best ways to choose a photo booth company. But only if you read them the right way. A wall of five stars does not tell you much. Here is what to actually look for.

Look for specifics, not vibes

A review that says great service is nice but empty. A review that says they arrived early, set up without us noticing, and kept the line moving all night tells you something real. Specifics signal a genuine experience.

Find the problem-solving reviews

The most valuable reviews are the ones where something almost went wrong and the company handled it. A printer issue they fixed fast. A last-minute layout change they rolled with. These reviews tell you how the company performs under pressure, which is exactly what you are paying for.

Check how they respond to criticism

Every company gets the occasional less-than-perfect review. What matters is how they respond. A calm, professional, solution-focused reply is a great sign. A defensive or rude one tells you how they will treat you if something goes wrong.

Watch for patterns

One bad review is noise. Three reviews mentioning the same problem is a pattern. Same goes for praise. If review after review mentions the quality of the prints, that is probably true.

Where to look

Google reviews are usually the most trustworthy because they are hard to fake. Look there first. Instagram comments and tagged photos are also useful because you can see the actual work, not just the words.
